No one is truly productive for many hours. That is why we take breaks. It is the same concept as the Pomodoro technique. You take care on one task for a short amount of time, take a break, and go again.

Having the space around you be neat and tidy makes it easier for you to also feel that way too. You are not bumping into anything. You are not wasting time trying to find things.
