Be a Beginner

Woo, I got this out in time. The holiday season has started for me, and it gets crazy. A dozen get-togethers, the black Friday push, and all the gift buying. But since I don't do as much socializing in the fall I'm actually excited for all the craziness.

But with the winter season here and the end of the year, this is the time I get reflective. Taking a look back over the year and dreaming about the next. And it reminds me why I started this site and blog. To be a beginner. I wanted so much more adventure in my life.

College was such a time of exploration. But since it started when I was still a teen all those ups and downs were still present. Maturing happened in leaps and bounds, with plenty of setbacks. But I wouldn't trade any of it for the world. I wouldn't be where I am today.

So, don't mind the motivational lean here, but I really do think everyone can do something to be happier in their lives.
