The connotation of being a black sheep is mostly not good. The one who doesn’t belong, fit in, and just making things difficult. But I’m proud to be the black sheep in my life. Yeah, I don’t fit in most places but I also don’t need their validation. I’ve always followed my own path and don’t regret the directions I’ve taken. I’ve definitely had a lot of fun this way.

As we were talking, I was pleasantly surprised to realize we were all alike: confident in ourselves and “OK” with who we are.
Sure, some of them were worried about being respected enough to be successful in their business, but since humans are social creature, that is a normal reaction to life’s challenge of being likeable to others.
