There Will Always Be Pushback
I always push for getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things. And sometimes you can’t do things (yet) because of outside circumstances (too many obligations, finances, etc). But sometimes whats giving you the most resistance is the people around you.
Not everyone will be a supporter.
And you need to be able to be strong enough to stand firm and what you want to do, whether that means you need to find other people who will support you. Get away from the people who are not supporting you, or kind of just lessen the amount of time you're around them. Get rid of them in any sense, but make sure you have a strong foundation in yourself of what you want and w.hat you're building for.
There are many reasons for the pushback. Others have their own ideas of what the perfect life is. They can’t see you being something different then what they already see you as. It’s not ‘acceptable’ for your culture / gender / family dynamics.
A lot of this is coming from their fear. That they don’t want you to make a mistake, because where you are is safe and safe is better than pushing for something that you don't know is there. That the money and security you have now is good enough.
Honestly, all their fears should not be your problem.
You have your own fears to work through. you need to be able to figure out what you want in your life to stand firm in it.
