Traveling and Teaching English Abroad: Interview with Rose

So yeah, I just want to dive in because I love the idea of working abroad and fueling travel as best we can.

As the economy is becoming more globalized English is becoming even more important in certain facets. I just thought, what if I can just keep doing this continue to travel and continue to teach English I have this skill. And native English speakers already have a huge leg up just because of the language we were born to speak. So taking advantage of that and then just running with it.

I’ve been to Korea, Mongolia, China Right now what I'm doing is I actually teach English online to kids in China, the online teaching marketplace is something that is growing very, very quickly. Even when I started a little less than two years ago. There were a lot less companies and a lot less reputable companies and there are now there's a lot of different options to choose from. And it's a really, really flexible job. Basically anything internet based can obviously allow people to travel and, and do other things that they want to do without being tied to one spot.

I think a lot of people though, are held on more by their actual physical possessions like their house or their car. All of those things can be sold if you really want to. If you don’t want to have to get rid of most your things, maybe it's a sign that you want to do something for six weeks and try something new and then you know, go back to what you know, which is okay, too.
