Ways Introverts Don't Decorate
For introverts, home is the ultimate place for retreat and basking in solitude. As such individuals like to have their own space and want to make it convenient and comfortable, they are very particular about decorating their homes. After all, it is the place to revitalize and jump back into the world with fresh vigor. So, although introverts enjoy a gathering from time to time, having space, where they can relax and feel comfortable is of utmost importance.
When it comes to decorating the home, introverts prefer things that are conducive to them. Here is the list of certain things that introverts dwell on in amping up their space:
Resist Noise- Unlike extroverts, their tolerance for noise is not that great. For example, extroverts prefer speakers and sound systems while partying. However, their counterparts find it somewhat annoying as most of them love to connect with each other at parties. So loud music or noise is found to be a bit too much. For introverts, there's a limit to how much noise they can handle.
Dislike Welcome Mat- Though the choice of mats is very personal, welcome mats are not for most introverts. However, that doesn't mean that introverts are not welcoming. Just like extroverts, they too love people around them. But, they are highly choosy about friends or guests. For introverts, even if people are coming to their door, they are not 100% welcome. These people prefer some space.
No Extra Reception- Introverts love comfort. For them, the home is a private space to relax and recharge. So, an introvert does not need to have an extra room for guests. Even if they throw a party or get-together, they don't like guests to stay over for long. So, if you are an introvert who is not that perfect host, it is perfectly fine.
No Magazine-Perfect Homes- Introverts are not messy or cluttered when it comes to decorating their homes. However, they do not believe in the concept of a magazine-perfect home. After all, your home is a very personal thing to you. You decorate it to make your living comfortable rather than just making it attractive or welcoming for others. Thus, introverts do not invest much in furniture or decorations that are redundant and unnecessary unease for them. So, without decorating their space for everyone else, introverts focus on their own ease and relaxation.
An introverted decoration can offer restoration to the heart and mind. Although it can often be shared with family and friends, it must preserve a sense of comfort and security for introverts.
